Petra Havránková
Petra Havránková studied opera singing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, music and choir conducting at the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University and choir singing at the Hochschule für Musik in Dresden.
So far, Petra Havrankova has interpreted the role of Colombine in the opera Theatre behind the Gate by Bohuslav Martinů on the New Stage of The National Theatre in Prague. In 2014 she interpreted the role of the Queen of the Night from The Magic Flute by W. A. Mozart, in 2016 and 2017 also presented this role in the theater Landesbühne Sachsen in Germany. From 2012 until 2018, Petra had been colaborating with the ensemble Musica Bohemica, which is mainly focused on baroque and Czech folk music. She sang also with Dresdener Kammerchor, with Auditivvokal and with Vocal modern – Ensemble focused mainly on contemporary music.
Currently, Petra is a member of the Staatsopernchor of the Semperoper in Dresden and a member of Collegium vocale 1704 led by Václav Luks.
During her studies, Petra began to dance (street dance, modern jazz, salsa, tap dance, hip hop etc.). While working with Fantasy Dance Studio in 2014, she became a double champion of the Czech Republic in category ”Street dance”.
